I’m Katelyn - an award-winning multimedia journalist. I’ve built a career telling impactful, highly reported stories in audio and text.

I’m currently a 2025-2026 Knight-Wallace Fellow at the Wallace House Center for Journalists at the University of Michigan, where I’m spending an academic year researching how podcasts and on-demand audio can best serve local newsrooms and civic media organizations. I’m available for hire as a podcast producer, editor, reporter and contributing writer. I also work as a podcast consultant and newsroom trainer.
